National Association of Private Catholic Independent Schools
The Academy is a member of the National Association
of Private Catholic Independent Schools (NAPCIS), educating K-12 students in the teachings of Jesus
Christ. NAPCIS accreditation is nationally recognized and provides periodic review
of facilities, staff, and curriculum to make sure the traditionally well-known standards
of Catholic education are met within each school.
A good articulation of what these
standards are, and the principles of classroom instruction NAPCIS member schools will
follow, are freely available online at the NAPCIS
web site.
Archdiocese of Denver
Our Lady of the Rosary Academy has a
"Private Association of the Faithful" agreement with the Archdiocese of Denver
signed by Archbishop Charles Chaput, Superintendent of Catholic Schools, Richard Thompson
and the Board of Directors of Our Lady of the Rosary Academy.
It states in part, "Our Lady of the Rosary Academy is a
private association of the faithful, a nonfrpfit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission
to provide its students an education that encourages Christian spiritual, moral, and
academic growth in the light of the Holy Spirit, faithful to the wholeness of truth and to
the teaching of the Holy Catholic Magisterium, in order to advance the Church, the family
and society.
This Association reflects an
effort on the part of the faithful to strive in a common effort to promote teaching of the
Catholic faith and to foster coordinated communication with the Archdiocese of Denver and
various Archdiocesan offices on issues pertaining to schools."
Our Lady of the Rosary
Academy is recognized as a Catholic association, but is not formed nor governed, or
